Information You Submit
Terms entered in a search form, such as a name, phone number, or address, go to the outside provider that supplies the results. Our servers do not retain a separate copy of those searches. A message sent to us contains only the information the sender chooses to provide, and we use it to answer that message.
Information Collected Automatically
Standard hosting logs may record an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. Aggregate patterns help us maintain the service and see which resources are useful. Cookies or similar tools may also support basic analytics and advertising measurement where those functions apply.
How We Use the Data
Limited visitor data supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We neither sell visitor lists nor create individual user profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to government portals, county and state offices, library collections, and outside search services. Their privacy terms control any data submitted on those sites. The same applies to sponsored results, which an independent provider supplies.
Parties That May Process Data
Hosting and support vendors process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatic information described above. We also comply with valid legal process. Visitor information is not otherwise shared.
Data Security and Retention
An encrypted connection protects traffic to the site. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for the stated purposes. Because there are no user accounts, this service holds no visitor password or account profile.
Users Under 18
The service is meant for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly gather personal information from anyone under 18. Contact us if a minor may have sent personal data so it can be removed.
California Privacy Rights
California residents may have access, correction, deletion, and opt-out rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, Civil Code sections 1798.100 through 1798.199.100, when that law applies. Our limited records generally consist of contact messages and server logs. Use the Contact page to request a search or deletion. Government records held by Livermore, Alameda County, or California agencies remain under the control of their custodians, so correction or removal requests for those files must go to the keeper.
Changes to This Policy
Any revised policy will appear here. Continued use after an update indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
